Monday back to post again. tired of revising physics. just starting on chem. i started with Acids and Bases first, so i asked my sis some qns regarding this topic that i dunno. woah, i ask her qn i qi4 dao4 ban4 tiao2 ming4.
me: oi, how to differentiate acid and molecules? sometimes molecules also have "H" inside their chemical formula. sis: acids are molecules me: T_T me: why does hydrogen ions always exist as H+? why can't they be H-? losing one electron and gaining one electron also gives hydrogen a stable electronic configuration. sis: hydrogen cannot exist as H-. they can only share electrons with other atoms to form molecules me: you havent answered my qn. i am talking about Hydrogen alone, not molecules sis: it mus form molecules to be an alkali. me: i where got say until alkali? (fed up), I SAID ION. sis: ya la, ion of alkali me: NOOOOO! NOT ALKALI, ION sis: THEN ION OF WHAT? me: ION....
