hello ppl, i've got a history qn to ask

why was there a need for Mao Zedong to launch the Cultural Revolution? it is said that the Cultural Revolution will help recover from the Great Leap Forward, but how? how does destroying all the China's historical things help in recovering from the Great Leap Forward, isnt this supposed to be worsening the situation?

I VERY CONFUSED. Mao Zedong seemed to be bringing China INTO chaos, not OUT OF chaos, but the notes wrote what "Mao Zedong brought China out of chaos"???????

and how does the Cultural Revolution help in communism?

CONFUSED
